Our Society is actively seeking new members, whether speaking by request
at an event, conducting educational classes or seminars for the members and the community, making our research library
available or answering genealogical questions. We are recognized as a resource in our community.
Funding for our Society is provided by member dues, grants, and donations. Please consider helping in our
effort to make genealogical research more available to us in Kitsap and north Mason County. We expend our resources
for rent for a monthly meeting location, rent and utilities to house our growing library, and for seed money for our
educational projects, including local historical tours, seminars, and programs.
We are a vibrant, healthy, growing genealogical society, and we are nearly 35 years young. The Internal Revenue
Service has recognized this Society as having 501 (c)(3) Federal tax exempt status.
Donations are appreciated, including genealogical books, photos, charts you may have and no longer need for your
own research. They may be titles we haven't yet acquired for our research library, or, if already in the collection,
may be auctioned off at one of our events or meetings to raise cash.
If you believe in our organization, it's goals and purpose, please consider adding the Puget Sound Genealogical Society
in your will.
