The Education Committee is responsible for planning workshops and classes as well as other educational opportunities to help  families researching their family history.  The members of this committee coordinate and plan educational events which meet the needs of all levels from beginners to more experienced researchers.

Workshops are usually planned for the first Monday in each month and sometimes on Saturdays.  Check the calendar for information about the schedule.   The fee is $10.00 for non-members and  FREE for PSGS Members.  The introductory workshop is free to everyone.  Reservations are on a first-come-first served basis and the space is limited, so be sure to make a reservation at least a week before the scheduled event to hold a space in the workshop.   Checks for non-members may be mailed to:

Each year we have sponsored a seminar, usually in September, in which we invite one or more  well-known speakers  to participate.
In 2008 the Belfair Chapter of the PSGS is planning to sponsor the seminar.

Linda Webb is the Chairperson for the  Education committee. Linda is a new member and is an experienced facilitator and consultant.  She brings valuable leadership skills to the Education Committee.
