As you can see this website is under construction. The Society has committed to a new website. Using the
web hosting of Domain Direct Web.com, it will be a less complicated and simpler process to train some
Society members as webmasters so we have back-up personnel, if the incumbent is called to other duties. The plan is
to continue using the existing Roots Web webpages, but migrate that site's content to this site, leaving the Roots
Web site for now with generic, non time sensitive information and a link forwarding site visitors to this NEW
( www.pusogensoc.org) website. As we construct this site, we have lots of options, both technically as in colors, designs, and
graphics, as well as our own page titles and content. Just as with building anything new, a "fit up" must
occur, so be prepared to see some change as we build up and evaluate these parts of our website. We may put something
up then take it back and re-work it. Our intent is to have at least a couple more members trained in being
Webmaster, so we can maintain the continuity as life's changes happen. There are lots of ideas for content we can
post on this site, reminder type items for our current members (such as the Calendar), information to prospective members
about joining with us, advertising our upcoming events and fundraisers to the public, sharing Cemetery
and Obituary Project data, and so forth. It won't happen overnight, but we can certainly grow a site that genealogical
researchers will add to their links. This is a Society effort, if you have ideas for content, comments (good
or bad) about what you find in our site, or what you think we should have, please share them with the Webmaster or the
President. We have e-mail links, simply click on their links and your computer's resident e-mail program will automatically
address a message for you, just add your comments and it will be sent to that person's personal e-mail via
this website.
