The Puget Sound Genealogical
Society Cemetery Project was created to preserve and document cemeteries in Kitsap County, Washington. Preservation of abandoned cemeteries is important
in that old cemeteries may be lost forever due to vandalism and lack of care. Documentation of cemeteries includes noting
location, listing burials, and status of cemetery among other things.
